  • Hey ... thanks for the nice compliments!

Yes, I play in several marching groups - the Philadelphia Fife & Drum, the Troublemakers (Rudimental Drum Tribute to William H. Reamer) & Washington Memorial Pipe Band. I also played in two drum corps - Brookhaven Crusaders & the Keystone Regiment (that became the Crossmen). .

    Blessings,

    Mark Beecher

  • I feel as though there is a break after the second 7 stroke roll. The transition between the double strokes and the single stroke 6-tuplet is not a smooth transition. Would you agree?

The first 7 stroke roll has a clear release in time with the roll but the second has a slight pause before the release as though you are preparing your hands for the sixtuplet.

Your technique is remarkable and being that you have much experience I wanted to clarify whether I am interpreting this properly or not.

  • Nice. Are you in a corps? And what kind of sticks are you using?
