this vid starts as an acoustic version of john martyn classic I Don't Wanna Know then goes into an electric version. i recorded the electric version using a program called guitar tracks pro 3 and added live effects using amplitube 2 plug ins. its recorded on 2 tracks, the 2nd is just me jammin over the top of the main song in a bluesy stylee. i also used the percussion tool set at 105 bpm. if any1 out there knows how to recreate echoplex using progs like these then PLEASE msg me.
the song is played standard tuning around Am7 chord capo 5th fret although the acoustic is tuned down a step or so further than my electric guitar. apologies for the sound fluctuations and poor camera work lyndon johni2bad tyler

  • I really like this version - some very tasy little effects.

  • great stuff! again.....id love to see a cover a day at the sea from the tumbler....one of my favs

  • really amazing

  • Yet again-like others you uploaded-this is closest to JMs fingerstyle -I have seen-certainly for this.

That use of the software to both recreate echoplex and as a base to jam over is interesting-I know you mentioned before-but to see it is good.

    Good stuff, keep em coming-ian

  • nice one Johni....
