Megavalanche 2008 Alpe d'Huez Race (Sa) Helmet-Cam Part1

2008 it was my 5th time at the Megavalanche in Alpe and never before was a bad weather like like that year!

The start at the Bic Blanc was canceled because of heavy snowfall and lightnings, so the riders had to start at the same start as on the day before.
I started in the first starting group, Letter L.
We all waited for hours in the rain and cold. The wind was blowing and truely these conditions seperated the men form the boys!!!

At about min 3 a mud drop hit my camera so the vision is totaly blury, thats wy the Part2 of that video starts in Alpe when the mud dryed.
