Now, officials are warning that the exact names used for specific medications in this country are being used for completely different types of drugs overseas! For example, Flomax is a prostate drug here in the states, but it's a pain medication in Italy. Norpramin: an antidepressant in the US, but an ulcer drug in Spain. Officials are concerned about potentially dangerous, even deadly, mix-ups as people travel abroad or turn to online overseas pharmacies for prescriptions.
