Also you shouldn't rush on labelling this "Hollywood propaganda". Take Black Hawk Down, great movie giving an insight on modern warfare from a soldier's point of view, trying to avoid political considerations or moral judgement, but nevertheless paints a rather flattering picture of the american soldier. (none of the characters seem blood-thirsty or maniacal to me). In fact many people label it "Hollywood propaganda" in the opposite sense than yours (meaning pro-US military) !
@AmMedAss1 you say that now you fight "politically correct wars that kill more of our soldiers than theirs". While i strongly disagree on the politically correct part (eg weapons of mass destruction in irak) thats just my opinion, but i'd love to see some stats on iraqi vs US military deaths that support your statement (not to mention civilians). Think its more like 4,700 coalitoin deaths, vs around 30,000 iraqi deaths (combatants and insurgents) and around 100,000 iraqi civilian deaths...
