The Real Mario-Kart 2

This video is a continuation of the first half of "The Real Mario-Kart" which is a collection of clips of me go-carting at my friend Darlene's farm.

The beginning of this video shows the 5HP engine that replaced the original 3.5HP engine on the black go-cart. The 3.5HP blew at least three piston rods before it was finally put out of service. The 5HP came off an air compressor that sat outside for some time with the spark plug missing. Water made its way into the combustion chamber and rusted the gas valve open. The valve was pounded down with a hammer and then the engine was rebuilt. Amazingly the engine starts and still does, but it drinks oil.
