I have actually shopped like that! 25 letters in the alphabet, 100 numbers on a stopwatch.

1= A, 2=B, etc, 26=Z, then 27=A, 28=B, etc.

To be honest, it didn't work very well. The ammount of times you get Q,Y, X, or Z is phenomenal, plus half the supermarket stock starts with C! I got tired of living off quinces, yoghurt, xylophones, and zucchinis.

I got the idea before ever hearing this song, but I feel more eccentric than proud.
