  • @gtrjoeles Great job bro! By far best lesson on the tube for this song!! thanks. BTW Being a huge BFG fan I have witnessed Billy play this in standard tuning like you teach it and also on the 2nd and 3rd fret as well as open, so to hell the trolls on here. On that note, in case these trolls don't realize it Billy doesn't have 4 arms while playing 2 guitars. It is a recorded loop playing (in standard tuning) while he plays the lead licks. Standard or Open its the same notes and billy plays em all

  • @andersonmatthewb ...wow - thank you!! I don't prefess to be Billy or even play half as well; my objective is to help you think for yourself and play a song the way that feels right to you ~ I guess it's misson acomplished....I'm here to help~like I wish I had when I was starting out. It's much appreciated to hear I'm on the right track ~ All My Best ~ Joe

  • Uhhh..it's played in open E...otherwise..great lesson!

  • @billmccray yeah -so I've been told-didn't know this at the time; but if you don't want to bother with the open tuning this may be an option....

  • @gtrjoeles This is the lick that Warren uses. Rock on man. Kudos for slowing this down to where i can catch it.

  • @ddavis510 That's cool to hear - I've gotten a lot of shit because I show it in standard tuning-but who wants to retune for one song - it's called options.... I appreciate the comment ~ Joe

  • @billmccray and this is how to do it if you don't like to tune your guitar ;)

  • Excellent lesson! Thank you!

  • @billmccray

in some concerts it's not open e but in some others it is. from time to time probably..

  • That e and a suspended is a partial chord in a open "c" fingering, pinky finger is left out removing the typical root note. e to a and in the lower part a to d.
