This great tune is played on one of the new Eastman produced Whyte Laydie banjos sold exclusively by Up-Town Music in Rochester, NY.

  • Hey Dan,

Does the fact that this banjo doesn't have a scoop bother you?

  • @steelfuzz Actually not with this banjo. The action at the head is high enough to not need one and the fifth string nut makes it doubly right without it. Even so, if I wanted to add one I wouldn't feel bad about it on this instrument because it isn't old and irreplaceable.

  • Nice, Dan! Nice banjo and great version of the tune. I see quite a few licks I'm going to add next time I play this tune! I need to hang out with you more; my banjo playing would improve immensely :-) Pam
