  • I saw a picture with lots of flowers. was this in the spring?

  • This was in mid August 2005. There were still plenty of flowers and snow. I hear the earlier you go the more snow you may have to deal with...

  • Im headed there next summer any suggestions on what to bring? I have a nice pack, TNF verto 26 (im not bringing much) but am not sure on what products to use/bring. I am in need of a good knife aswell.

  • @HazeGreyAndUnderway

yes! it takes a lot more than ur used too out in the flat lands, it will be the hardest hiking u will ever do, but do it anyways, it will be worth it. be well prepared and equipped. and aware. better to error on the side of caution out there.

  • Im desperately wanting to start traveling more, backpacking the Tetons/Yellowstone area is something Ive been wanting to do for a long time, however the most experience I have is a few couple day hikes around the IL and WI area. Should I be tremendously worried about the skill level needed to backpack the West? Any advice on how to get the ball rolling on planning for such a trip?

  • Looks like you had a great time. I can't wait to get there this year

  • cool i have been to lake solitude 18 miles

  • there are much better trails of the beattin tourist path that only locals know and i hope it stays that way ppl just flock here and do really stupid things and ruin everything but it looked like a fun trip hope you had a happy and safe time and enjoyed your visit

  • is this wyoming?

  • what song and Im going there this summer and I cant wait for it:]
