Noticed a lot of play in the axis on my iOptron iEQ45. This video shows the play in the DEC axis as I received it. This play comes from the hinges not being snug up against the housing. I was able to adjust this and take out almost all the play. My GOTO's where greatly improved after doing this for both the RA and DEC axis.

You can get a procedure from iOptron support that shows how to take things apart to get to the hinges. It would be a part of their gear replacement procedure.
