But, when your friends come around and help you achieve it !
You all can feel -That was a precious time ! -
To run for 60 miles and reach 40 summits in the Lake District--Sub 24 hours- Is one of those times !

Verse 1.
Clock struck midnight,18.June.11.
I went through my minds portals.
To go to places, sometimes,
not fit for us mere mortals.
Keswick"s people and sounds,
disappeared behind in the lights.
Only strong rhythmic breathing,
Filled the quiet,darkened night.
Chorus.
I started out on a 24 hour goal.
Feeling I was all alone.
Without friends who were there that day.
I would not have made that place my own !
Verse 2.
Onwards and ever upwards,
Atop clouded Skiddaws Crest.
Two actual,spiritual mentors.
Encouraged me achieve ! Rest..
Lights twinkled in the dark.
Was our minds playing tricks?
No ! Others were on the hills.
Same as me.Out there for kicks.
Chorus.
I started out on a 24 hour goal.
Feeling I was all alone.
Without friends who were there that day.

Verse 3.
Downwards to lowly Threlkerd.
Food,drink and solace to receive.
Not too much that kind of thing.
Press on.Have faith and believe.
In that moment ! Pain was mine !
To stay with me like a faithful dog.
Until every summit.Every trough.
Was crossed off my journeys log.
Verse 4./Chorus finish.
Fed drinks.Food called "Magic Hash".
Mentors kickstarted me my needs.
Changing clothes,changing shoes.
No matter ! Sore feet ! Always bleed !
Like stations,summits were passed.
Clouds or pain?Resolve could not bend.
The thing I wanted to happen most.Did !
Run last summit,to Keswick and friends.
Last summit to Keswick and friends !

I started out to reach my goal.
