Censorship of Beck (O'Reilly and Hannity, another posting) by BrightHouse Cable Network.

Subscribers to BrightHouse Network in Central Florida cannot record (DVR) conservative shows on an ongoing 'series' basis. To record these shows you must manually hit record for each viewing day. The record series option IS available for left-leaning programs on MSNBC.

Programs not offered the 'Record Series' option include:
Glenn Beck
O'Reilly - The Factor
Hannity - all of his programming.

Go to the series manager and delete the Glenn Beck show and then try again. You must have it set to record somehow and there is a conflict.

Tried for months....I went through series manager...The facts are the facts. You can see for yourself that the menu structure was different for Beck, Hannity and O'Reilly than for any other program.

It's probably something that Glenn Beck/Fox News has asked for with the cable providers. Wouldn't surprise me giving how much the right wing/conservative media love their censorship.

I have Charter cable and can not series record Hannity. When I set it up as a series recording it simply doesn't record it. I've deleted the series recording and set it up over again after re starting the dvr, and also moved it to the top priority, yet it doesn't record. It's the only series I have this problem with.

Its not just you, Charter LOOKS like they are recording, but then they just don't. I thought it was my box, till I called my daughter in another state with another cable company and found it was happening with her as well. This is AMERICA, we need to band together and say NO, you will not dictate what information we can and cannot have.

Modern TVs,DVD and,VHS recorders and even digital receiver's now have a kind of macrovision built in to them, Look it up if you dont believe me. They pick up on signals coming in from the broadcasters just like old VHS tapes with macro encoded in to the tape. We didn't go digital to ''free up the air waves'' (what a lie) the sole reason for the switch over from analogue to digital was to make it almost imposible to record copyright films and shows from TV. There are ways around it though.

I hear they are deleting Jessee Ventura conspiracy theory episodes. The govt made TRU TV stop airing the FEMA camp episode. Its not your cable providers, the govt is on a cover up mission. They are hiding some things they don't need you to find out till its too late.

I have Bright house and I have noticed that my DVR will either not record or the recording won't play back and it is ONLY with the Glenn Beck Show. It has been occurring at random only with GB. I have it recording as a series but last week it randomly did not record Tuesday. Today I can't play GB back. My DVR memory is not full and ALL of my other recordings/series are fine. ugh

It lets me record the series no problem, but I despise FoxNews anyway so it doesn't really affect me (I despise any news media...

I honestly think it IS in your manager already.. The cable box probably got corrupted, it happens, just return it and get another one..
