  • I listen to this song all the time..love it. It's such a perfect song.

Gorgeous tune that then turns into a good symphonic metal masterpiece.

  • Raw, unedited voice that you're hearing. Goes to show that there's some talent left in the musical world, and it all went into Simone's voice.

  • @pmanderson Simone started liking NIGHTWISH in her teens, and therefore started taking singing lessons. She wasn't in Epica in the first place (when it was Sahara Dust) because she was a minor, with no experience and Mark's girlfriend. The only relation is that we owe NW that Simone Simons started singing

  • I have only recently discovered this group...and feel absolutely forever greatful to whomever that I have. I have been and continue to be a huge Nightwish fan, however the musical gifts presented by Epica overwhelm me! Just so fortunate to be here now and able to listen to this music, on many levels similar to NW but in many ways so different and, dare I say it, better. Simones voice, the more 'rawness' of the music (compared to NW) results in a truer sound and feel to the song.

  • Being a beautiful woman, with an astonishing voice, without resorting to over-sexualized video clips, in addition to her blue eyes, red hair and angelic face...

Simone Simmons forever. She is a true diva. No, She is a goddess.

And a Shame to see this video has only 50 Likes. Proof that this band is underrated.

  • Every time i hear this song I burst out in tears; it has so much personal meaning and the message is so true for anybody who has struggled in addiction

  • @raziel474712 Exactly.

  • @pmanderson besides epica's sound has nothing to do with nightwish...

  • @processmetalble Not really. Simone started liking Epica in her teenages. Epica was formed by Mark, ex After Forever. Simone wasn't even supposed to be in the band in the first place, but they decided to take her in as they needed a new singer after Sahara Dust. Nightwish has no relation to Epica whatsoever, other than that Simone started to take classical singing lessons when she was a teenager.

  • @pmanderson Guy,Epica is formed by Nightwish indirectly,Don;t u know that?

Plz go to wikipedia-.-and read Simone Simons' passage.

  • Her voice sends shivers down my spine. It's... I... I can't even put words on it. This song WILL be playing at my funeral. I don't get why people think Nightwish is better than this. Nightwish is teenage pop compared to this. I mean, Epica's got operatic ballads, orchestral masterpieces, and death/prog metal all in one! How does it get better than that?!
