Apple to Become the IBM of 1984?

I've been with iOS since day 1, but through the near 5 years it has been on the market, very little has changed. I have grown bored of it. And guess what? iOS isn't the absolute best platform anymore. Other manufacturers are catching up—and fast. Could this be Apple's 1984?

Ever since I was born I've been an Apple fan. Sadly, my first Mac which was the Lime Green iMac, it got destroyed bcuz my parents needed info that is not important today. I have a Mac Classic in my room sitting right next to meh. I use a iPod touch, and have many Apple products. Fuck Microsoft, go Apple

I like using my friend's Droid and Windows phone...fuck blackberry...but anyways, I couldn't move to a different phone. I just couldn't justify using anything else.

If most of your electronic devices are from Apple it's just so much easier to use an iPhone instead of an Android oder Windows Phone device. And I think Apple did really much in the last few years. You had the iPhone, so you used iPhone OS 1.0. The App Store alone was a revolution!

I think Apple did a fantastic job with the multitasking implementation, and iCloud is, if you live in an Apple environment, soooo nice to have. But you are right, Google an Microsoft are catching up pretty fast.

But this is APPLE. Not just the iPhone. They have many products! Apple has been at the top for they're products. Laptops, computers, iPod, iPod Touch, iPad.
