Being released on November 23, 2011, A Dangerous Method is based on the play "The Talking Cure" which hypothesizes on the relationship between the fathers of modern psychotherapy, Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender) and Sigmund Freud (Viggo Mortensen).
It is known that both shrinks treated a patient by the name of Sabine Spielrein (portrayed here by Keira Knightley), and David Cronenberg uses the actress in some fairly enlightening ways. Hear what the "History of Violence" and "Lord of the Rings" actor has to say about the role.
