Wrong: the bad ideas in this case came directly from Democrats who ran these companies, sheltered them from competition, encouraged loans to people who couldn't afford them, gained votes, bonuses and campaign funds as a result of these reckless policies, and threatened Republicans with false accusations of being "against the poor" and "racist" every time they tried to warn us. The tax payers have been screwed in this case by DEMOCRAT POLITICIANS!

Oh yeah, it's because idiots making 20,000-30,000 a year cannot afford a 300,000 house but do not understand the idea of living within their means. So they apply for a loan for these homes they can't pay for and what is worse: THE IDIOTS WITH MONEY GIVE IT TO THEM.

EVERYONE is at fault. Republicans, Democrats, trailer trash, and the fattest, richest executive you can find.

Too-big-to-fail companies that go belly-up should be frankly nationalized. The incompetent managers should be fired and the gov't should make a determination about whether the company should be rehabilitated or liquidated.
