JIMI?!

yes. I did that too with a $8 giant glider from Wal-mart. Honestly I don't think that plane is worth the $50 I paid for it at Wal-mart, but it did get me started in this exciting but expensive hobby. I'd wish Estes would just sell the plane with no electronics, because most of their planes are really pretty, just can't fly. I'd love to take just the plane and put twin 10 gram brushless motors (about 300gram thrust), 800 mah lipo...with a RTF weight of under 300 grams. it will go veritical.

Sorry but this plane just flat out sucks. Once the motor gets out of whack, it either pulls left or right. Check out my favorites for the modified version of it.

I disagree. I have "issues" at times flying the plane but largely it flys very well and I have a lot of fun with it. Please view my other videos and you will see all the fun we have with Blue Angels and variants thereof.

To remove pulls, just shift main wing in the direction the plane pulls. This is an easy fix to this problem. The "Giant Foamy" planes in my videos are build with electronics from the Sky Ranger added to a large foam glider purchased from a hobby store. In this configuration flight is slower and easier to control. For info on interesting things that you can do with this plane, click on "jcapzz" then click on the WEB link.
