Tired of the media taking jabs at his films, German film director Uwe Boll took on four of his critics in boxing ring, in Vancouver. This last match is between youngest fighter Richard Kyanka.

i dont see how boll can take any pride or sense of accomplishment from these 'wins'. Apparantly, he was a talented amateur boxer, whilst the guys he's fighting clearly have no clue. In a contest this mismatched, I would feel like a complete asshole. It's like a pro-golfer trying to prove he's the man by challenging someone who has never played before to a game of golf.

@1GearG0 I think it was more to prove a point to these 'internet tough guys' who were stupid enough to accept this challenge in the first place. It's their own fault and they got their asses kicked. Sometimes in life, you need to get your ass kicked.

@1GearG0 He never forced them to fight. This is probably the first time a director challenges critics like that and kicks their ass. He has balls of steel and I respect him just for that.

Wow! I wouldn't have expected Uwe to be such a good sport! Patting Kyanka on the back like that. I figured the "German Steel Machine" would have a more callous attitude toward this sort of competition. Also remember that he did this professionally before he started making video game-based movies. Some of his non-game-related movies are almost halfway decent, but they always seem to have a political bias that can't decide whether it's pinko leftist or Nietzschean.
