Homeless Child of All Earth

Black and white photographic portraits of homeless persons in America are set to original solo piano music composed and performed by Phyllis Cole-Dai, www.phylliscoledai.com. More than 3.5. million Americans are estimated to experience homelessness each year, with that number on the rise. Their average age is seven years. One in three homeless persons is a child. One in four is a veteran of the armed forces. At least 40% of homeless persons are families with children. Half of the women and children without homes are fleeing domestic violence.

why!!!! why do we have whealthy lives and why do all the homeless people have nothing but a garbage bag, a small jacket and nothing else to keep them self alive, whY!!!! i cant stand it im sitting at my computer right now crying becuz i cant take it anymore. its so sad and horrible how people can just walk past a homeless person and not even think of helping them.its just horrible!!! i am reallo thinking of giving donations and going out into the streets and helping those who need a helping hand

Follow your impulse to help, but please do so wisely. We mustn't despair, but let the presence of suffering inspire us to do our part to help alleviate it, however we can. This is my view, at least....

Unfortunately, given the economic crisis in this country, the number of homeless people will only continue to increase. ("Skyrocket" may be a better term.) Their average age is SEVEN YEARS.

There is so much need because of Greed. If there were no evil spirits in our world we would all love and care for each other instead of dog eat dog. The last enemy to be overcome is death. Until then it is only those who care and have God's Spirit that will make a difference to others.
