The greatest thing about the Damned is photgraphed on the back of Machine gun etiquette,where they're walking across the street all looking completely different from one another. Like what the fuck could these people be doing together?!Well they're in the band. Holy shit.They're better than you by the way. No matter who ya are!

In my opinion Capt, Vanian, Monty, Pinch and Stu are the best line up since the Algy Ward days. Even this line-up with Pat Bag on bass is great. I've seen them going back to 1980 and they sound more pro the energy is great and they're a damn clean, tight, sounding band. Rat or no Rat.

What !!!! The Cap is a founder member and a very good guitar player and song writer. Vanian and The Cap is the core of The Damned and has always been that.
Rat was a good drummer and a cool guy.
There is far far worse examples on tribute bands around than this lot. SAHB, Thin Lizzy, Dr Feelgood To mention a few.
