CATANA 39 1988

This Catana 39 is an advanced design which incorporates performance design, quality construction materials, and a comfortable layout. She features complete construction in core PVC sandwhich composite, including bulkheads. The core is a PVC foam with 75kg/m3 unidirectional fiber, extra reinforcements in bow, bottom and rear sections. The chain plates are reinforced with kevlar and the main bulkhead is carbon fiber composite. She's rated as a class 1 ocean going unsinkable cat with 4 water tight collision bulkheads and escape hatch. The hulls are asymetrical with retractable daggerboards and bulbous bows to minimize pitching
