Renovated Seafood Buffet at the Rio, 2008

We visited again on June 21 2008. The place has been renovated. While the food is still great the large seafood preps variety they used to have is now gone. No more deviled crabs, stuffed scallops and mussels. No more prawns, jumbo shrimps and langoustines prepared many different ways. The desserts choices shrunk too. Lots of meats and salads that I can find at every buffet. Disappointing.

Dude we paid bout $200 includin tax to come here for 3 adults and 2 children and we were stuffed after that. it was good though although i didnt eat much so we wasted some cash.

Not when we were there! None of the buffets I have visited in Vegas has a time limit, but keep in mind that most have no restrooms inside.

last time i went was in 2008 there was about 200 people in line but it moved surprisingly quick and hands down the best buffet around. you have to... have to.. save room for the gelato (especially the elvis gelato) and some other desserts. i always have to go there when in vegas.

i went there around summer 08...and lemme tell you the old man working at the beef section...was being a total jerk to all the guys that wanted a slice and sucked up to the pretty girls.

BUT....other than that the seafood was good. Wish i had more King Crab though =\
