The angry protesters also set light to tyres in hope of pushing EU policy makers to adopt better milk production regulations in Europe.

The farmers, from France, Germany, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, arrived by tractor in the European capital to coincide their action with key agricultural meetings taking place this week at the EU institutions.

EU agricultural ministers will be deciding on the reform of the Common Market Organisation on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Its worse than that they sold their souls to gov' they are imprisoned in a failed industrial complex, encouraged to produce more than is needed, its not like the old days when it was a local market & farms where just that, farms that supplied the needs of the local community, ie: supply & demand. We no longer have farms we have open air factories that serve neither farmer or community.

If you think the farmers are merely protesting about their own plight & not within the context of the entire corrupt system, as is most of Europe you do them a grave injustice of assumption ;)
