Interesting observation of classic TROS but with real (not LED) light-bulbs.
Bemf here hitting the ferrite cores with coils, causing them to light bulbs almost to full brightness (compare the same but dim test-light straight from bttry).

  • no, the answer - to get the oscillation of transistor,

    do it step-by step, make a coils on toroid [now we see it works even without it],

    as soon as you find a proper transistor [by seeing oscillation] you can load a power coil in different configurations [here just a regular coils on toroids in series];

    it sounds difficult but it's not,
