Animals Asia - 13 farmed bears rescued!

Thirteen more moon bears arrived Friday, 6 February, at the rescue centre in Chengdu, confiscated and handed over to our care by the Sichuan Forestry Protection Department. Although in better health than the last group rescued, the bears are clearly unwell and distressed, and unfortunately it was already too late for one of them.

Cruelty to animals is not unique to Asians alone. Pls do not make this into an ethnicity/racial issue. Heard of Foie Gras? I do believe that 'delicacy' didn't orginate in Asia. The point is, cruelty to animals occurs everywhere. The problem can be solved by educating the masses. Not finger pointing or blame shifting. Gets us nowhere. I'm Asian and I champion for animals rights in Asia.

Likewise,what have these poor animals done to deserve that?Yeah exactly.I watched a vid a min ago,and some of the comments were shocking.'They make great pies' was one,'i'd donate if i could' another.I donate through WWF,only £3 a mnth,but it's £3 more than most do,makes me pretty sad to see some of these vids,and i only joined You Tube 30 mins ago.
