  • 2:35 in all the sudden the who takes possession of him and rocks every ones socks off!!

  • Jeez, I almost expected to see little bits of flesh come flying off at the end there, he was thrashing that poor alvarez so hard!!!

  • Monte's the man, but Pete Townshend is the man, ya know?..

  • I love that CSI twang he gets at the end

  • Please, please, please--bring back "Tightrope", Monte. You are huge and never fail to amaze, but I miss that vid' so bad. Thanks for this and hope to see you at the Saxon soon.

  • Muddy Waters once said "No one can be the best, you can just be a good 'un."

  • Tommy E can not hold a candle to Monte Montgomery. That's like comparing the 19 century with the 20 century.......

  • monte is great-raw & emotive-tommy e. is a master of a different thing-chets 2 or 3 complex things at atime-monte is like havin as much freedom on acoustic as possible!emmanuals music is jazz/country-very different & way more difficult to play!both are awesome!!!

  • Amen...Tommy E is amazing...and I'll check out some of the lesser (hopefully "soon to be") known players...but Monte's tone makes you want to bark out one of Roger Daltrey's primal screams

  • @Pappyboyd1 It's like saying that Matisse is better than Renoir, so I completely agree with your point....except Kaki King. She's competent but has never impressed me. She's being called a great player for doing the things now Preston Reed has been doing for years.

The rest - for sure, and more besides. There are some GREAT players on YT that I'd never heard of before. Don Ross, Antoine Dufour, Robert Taylor, Steffen Schackinger...all quite different.
