This is a clip from the video "Journey of Faith". A documentary of insights and evidences of The Book of Mormon.
Filmed on location in the Middle East, Journey of Faith chronicles the courage and faith of Lehi's family with the eye of the camera and the insights of scholars from a broad range of expertise. The film shows the land of Nahom, where Ishmael was buried, and the most likely location for Bountiful, where Nephi built his Ship. Insightful and inspiring, Journey of Faith shows how God molded Lehi's family in the wilderness to become a new people of God.

  • I agree. I would love to follow the steps of Lehi, well, that is until the empty quarter, I may have to hop on a plane for that one.

  • You are a good man for posting this. Please post all the segments from this DVD!

  • I wish I could. Copyright issues get in the way. But I've been speaking with them and there is a *possibility* that we can post it.

  • With all of the negative videos about Book of Mormon archeological and historical studies and research, it is good to have videos like this on YouTube.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Interesting material again.

  • @Xmetalearth just pray bro. =)

  • Very interesting.

  • I am at quite the quandary, I keep reading the BOM, stop reading and disregarding it, picking it back up again, denying the doctrine, I feel the same way Joseph Smith felt when he had is so called "vision" to ask what Church was the right one. I am still not sure about the whole Mormon thing, but I will keep trying, maybe one day it'll come to me.

  • Despite sweltering heat, dozens of youth, wearing their distinctive, yellow "Mormon Helping Hands" vests, repaired the fence along Bakerton Road, while others, less conspicuous perhaps, tended to the cleanup of trail waysides, sign maintenance and trash pickup.

  • "It's really hard to finds dresses that are really cute that are modest," said Mikayla Gogan, one of the ninth grade students in Guy Johnson's Willowcreek Middle School LDS Seminary class. "I've had this problem. It's really hard and even when you think you found something that will work with a white or black undershirt and leggings, you can still get kicked out of a stake dance."

  • It usually requires marathon shopping with a critical eye to find something to purchase and even then, the outfit usually requires adding something underneath or atop.

  • @edbarneyjr

    fictional works?

  • "These are physical reminders of the past," President Packer said in an interview with the Church News. "Some people might see such items as trivial objects, but they are treasures for the Church History Department and museum. Items of this kind make us feel a little closer to those leaders in the past."

  • Acceptance. By accepting the gift of the Atonement, individuals recognize the sacrifice of Heavenly Father and Christ, bringing purpose to the Atonement.

  • Elder Lund gave four suggestions of how individuals can give offerings:

Acknowledgment. "How quick is mankind to blame God for the natural disasters and suffering you find in the world, but how slow to acknowledge His hand in the goodness of life," he said. Proper acknowledgment shows thoughtfulness and recognizes the goodness of God.
