Vice President Joe Biden appeared on the "Colbert Report" last night (9/8). Near the end of the interview, Biden turned to the camera and also mentioned former president George W. Bush:
"Mr. President, thank you. You’ve honored these guys, you’ve honored these women, you’ve honored these troops. And I’ve known you your entire eight years as president. I’ve never known a time when you didn’t care about what happened. We disagreed on policy, but you deserve a lot of credit Mr. President."

Biden was head of the Foriegn Relations commitee in the senate. He kept the UN guy who was in charge of Iraqs wmd from testifying. Check it out.

Remember that at the time, Bush was telling everyone there was an imminent WMD threat. Biden and others didn't necessarily have a way of knowing it was fabricated or speculative intelligence.
He also did not anticipate what he referred to as the "absolute incompetence" of the Bush administration in defining the mission and planning the operation.
I agree it's a mark against Biden, but I don't consider it "fatal". I like him.

Biden tried to put Impeachment on the table when he realized that We the people were being mislead, and lied to. We have been living in fear for the last almost 8 years. Fear based control. Joe Biden should blame Bush for misleading all Americans. 911 + Afganistan =/= Iraq dosn't add up. Our young men and woman trusted Bush to protect them and they were willing to put their live in the line. Bush sent our military without protection. Sent them out without a plan. Without solving 911 first. Thank you Joe for wanting to help us, one and all in the America.
