  • @Blazhei @Blazhei Ain't it the truth? Haha, I'm sure she's not sad, but dammit if she doesn't sound like it!!

  • @HomoCyborgZombie Classic.

  • I truly enjoyed this. Tyson, Druyan and company are so engaging, not one boring minute.

  • @cnestudy1 I'm not entirely sure. He's all ready active spreading the glories of SCIENCE! so he probably doesn't want to get wrapped up in the polarizing effects of the religion debate. It's probably a pedagogical reason more than anything.

  • Ann always sounds like she's on the verge of tears. :/

  • @cnestudy1 He talks about it in other interviews, how he hates being dragged into these sorts of discussions. That's probably why; he's stated before he doesn't care about the religion v science debate.

  • One more thing, Cousin Claudia dear; there is still the matter of the bank account that Aunt Bea left in trust to me outstanding.

We did agree, I have it in writing for assorted and sundry to see, that if I helped you recover your share of her will, you, in turn and in good faith, would see to it that the money in the account was restored to me.

I kept up my end of the agreement.

Sorry to bring this up here, but you ignore my private letters.

    Love,

    Cousin Doreen

There isn't a wortschopfer in the world that can mend the damage done to the image of scientists in the eyes of the public, or restore the public's respect for them. after the various DARPA, Monsanto, Merck, BP....debacles - and how can we forget the Big Brother-style panopticon (for an attosecond)?

Dare we mention the ~100 top scientists who have died untimely and unnatural deaths in the last few years?

  • This attempt at corporate image damage control is futile.

IQ-reducing and docility-inducing fluorides and lithium compounds (the fruit of Nazi research) in the water nothwithstanding, the public has understood that while science is methological; its research decisions and applications, determined as they are by the military-industrial complex, are anything but rational - and most certainly not moral.

  • @winterstellar I agree with you completely. The only problem is that these people will never listen to such a great panel that advocates science and reason.
