ea games came to iceland to try and take over ccp, ccp wouldnt even return there phone calls, eventually they told EA games to fuck off cause they thought they were the destoryers of all creativity. well not there exact words, but pretty close :P

bullfrog stopped plans to make DK3 as they wanted to make games for the console market of the time. Big mistake really in my opinion as DK was a classic

well..that was to be decided in DK3 which DK fans realise never came out, i read a collum about it:
the game was to be on the overworld they probably had trouble desining it or something, because in the overworld that would completly change gameplay because there would be no digging or anything.

i think that portal takes him to the land above and the apocolips comes and the world becomes a corrupt world and overcome by the demons

The whole game is about reaching the gate that leads to the realm above wich they ofcourse want to qonquer .. ;)
