Truth about Niqab 1of 3

At 11% France has the largest Muslim population in Europe, estimated to be some 7 million strong. Yet they are excluded from all positions of authority and decision making. There is not a single Muslim in the 577 seat French National Assembly, and out of some 36,000 mayors there is not a single Muslim. Muslims face the worst discrimination in society; they have the worst housing; and the highest level of unemployment.

Islamophobia is rampant in France and is openly accepted and encouraged in respectable society. To illustrate the perception of Muslims in France I will relate an incident that was reported by a BBC correspondent in Paris.

She was sitting in a café in Paris with a French friend Antoine when two homosexual men in tight t-shirts walked passed hand in hand, occasionally stopping to kiss one another.

That's disgusting!" exclaimed Antoine, a middle-aged, rather conventional French businessman.

"What, the two men?" She asked.

"No, no, not them. Behind them, the two women."

She looked but she couldn't see anything amiss. All she saw were two young women, walking past chatting to one other.

She turned to Antoine, mystified.

"The veils!" he exclaimed.

"Veils?" she asked.

"Yes, those headscarves," he said. "That shouldn't be allowed here in France."

what my question is why that the places like iraq and iran and places like that that require women to cover themselves in public and if they don't they go to get in trouble and if the women in the religion has a choice to cover, if the country froces women to wear it and be punsihed if not then its different then the culture and religion reasons for wearing one, care anyone to answer and help me out

@connect2anna well in Iraq and Most Muslims countries women not only do not have to cover but some even wear skirts etc...

but in countries were there is 99.9% Muslims then most women cover up and for the most part its an unwritten law that they must cover their hair ....but they can show their face

just as in america you cant walk out showing your breasts likewise in Muslim countries they have a higher lever of chastity so their dress code is better.

@connect2anna in ISLAM we so no separation of religion and state so issues such as alcohol, not covering up etc can be punished by the courts.....

but as I stated every country in the world has a dress code. just because the dress code of Iraq may be different then that of america you cant say one is right and another is wrong

question you need to search for is what is the path to GOD...is it ISLAM or some other religion

But if I came to a Muslim country would I be elected mayor? If I didn't have the same religion as you, so I did not cover myself in your opinion of modesty. I don't think those countries would see my few as fit and I doubt they will accept me with open arms, as you seem to feel you should be accepted. I wish it were this way, but it's not.

in iSLAM you dont have to cover yourself the way MUSLIM women do...

i dont get it in the quran it says to "draw their viels over theIr bossoms" So how is that talking about niqab ?? or even hijab? plz hlep me about this somebody ,.. bec became so confused about this and i wanted to wear niqab :'(
