Kevin D. Tate, age 43, of Adrian, MI, passed away, January 6, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born July 6, 1966, in Adrian, MI, the son of Donald & Lily (Miller) Tate. He married Dawn Butler, she preceded him in death in May of 2008. Kevin was currently employed with Michigan TBA. He is survived by his son, Johnathan Tate, his mother, Lily Faye Tate, his brother, James (Melissa) Tate and three sisters, Shirley Tate, Lori (Corwin) Laster and Donna Bovee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dawn, his father, Donald and infant brother, David. Funeral Services will
be held 1:00 PM, Monday, January 11, 2010, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with Rev. Daryl Etheridge officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian.   • I still cant believe your gone Uncle Kevin. I miss you so much, it feels like it was only yestrday i call u and talk to u.You weren't just my uncle you were more like the father I never had and I'll never forget everything you did for me and I love you.

  • Our love, hearts, thoughts & prayers go out to the family and friends of Kevin. We were hurt and sadden after we heard of his passing. I pray for God to be with his son and all of the family during this time and in the days to come. This is a beautiful video tribute to him.
