What would you do if Ford offered you their latest SVT Raptor with a new 6.2L V8 engine? We were given that opportunity, and so we decided to put the truck through some real world tests.

We've seen it bomb through desert sand, and rip through mud, but can it climb and crawl, fit into narrow canyons, and make its way through some of the harshest terrain the U.S. has to offer?

Find out in our visual review of the 2010 SVT Raptor from Ford.

  • @lucas6778 Yes, but at the end of the day after riding the trails, this truck has the power and aerodynamics to be a daily driver....The Jeep Rubicon is a Legend off-road but on road it's a under powered brick on wheels.

  • what about snow???

  • I wonder how much that coil spring costs, still has the price tag on it...

  • @lucas6778 Of course the Rubicon could do what the Raptor could, Maybe not as fast or comfterble. However that is all Preferance of Comfort and how ballsy you are.

  • nothing a rubicon couldnt do

  • @overcrestmedia COOOOOLLLLLLLLLL!!!! whats the song? im thinking of this and toyota tundra.

  • do they still include the plastic gas door?

  • the ultimate test is BAJA SCORE RACE (a mod. raptor won 3rd place on his divisionn)

  • @supersnot4 Thank you for the notice.

  • @unholy414 That's really the only drawback to this truck. We got some really tight trails in, but there's nowhere on them to set up a shot. You can't get the distance or field to make the shot work, even though we had an amazing time trying. I will say that the skid plates are there for a good reason and they work well at their job. The running boards, however, are ideal only in the sand and desert where Ford has advertised the truck being.
