1.Vegetarian/vegans is a completely separate category than organic foodies.

2. Do you honestly think because our GMO food can feed the world, that is what were doing? its not, were not sending any food to starving countries. GMO was made to increase profits, not feed the poor.

Because you saw an episode of penn and teller, does not make you an expert on the subject.

I'm a vegan and when I can I use organic food I do. I'm not a vegan to protest, but I did once do a research paper on this. A good 4 pages and well I see your point, but I do see that GMO's have a bad side as well, but you do have a GREAT point! I LOVE how you were mature and didn't swear like most people do! This is a great way to express yourself, I wish others would follow your footsteps. :)

In the developed world, nearly half of all landfills are made up of food. Look it up yourself. With such a massive level of food waste, why are companies like Monsanto turning to GMO products? For profit. If they cared about feeding the world, they'd be teaching people to waste less. These are the same people who put their buddies in the US congress to oppose food safety standards

I am sick of people justifying the mass production of food and genetical modification by saying that is necessary in order to feed the world. This wasnt created as the solution to overpopulation, but is actually part of the cause. The need for corporations to increase profits has gone to the extremes of affecting population, and now people are dependent on it to the point of no return

i dont think there would bea problem feeding everyone on non GMO food if we werent using all of the land and resources for livestock and factory farming. vegetables by themselves yield much much more food per acre than animals do. gmo or not
