If the "Palestinians" didn't want to lose so much land they shouldn't have provoked the six-day war. Granted the National Unity Government had only declared war the day before Israel made their first missile strikes. However, I would have made the same decision King Hussein had if a notoriously hostile group of people declared war on my country.

LOL! That map is not the official UN map of landownership in pre-Israel Palestine, drawn up by the French Commission in 1947. The Negev was not owned by Arabs (it was state land), and today is 55% of Israel...that automatically refutes the 97% figure...The Jews and the state also owned land in the "West Bank", and most Arabs were not land owners but tenants.
But this map is a nice map...Green is one of my favorite colors. *smile*

well no, the owners were the british, there were never any palestinians to own it. arabs maybe, but even then the last time arabs owned this land was during the 19th century before the ottoman empire took it from them. but lets look at times before that. did the arabs not take it from the romans?
