Can anyone find the old news reports about this? It seems to me that Heinz was outraged about the cost of it. They just told somebody to make a commercial and didn't put a limit on the cost. When they saw the bill, they started scooping their eyeballs up off the floor. I'm not sure this is true, maybe the old news accounts can be found. I'll keep looking. This is from a long time ago, but it's a dandy.

I heard this was the most expensive promo at their time. It's a shame it was for a soup brand no one remembers.

This commercial really boosted the sales of Campbells. Unfortunately Great American Soups was not a Campbells product, and the brand died.

OH MY GOD.This is my favorite commercial of all time!! "Face the chicken gumbo, and dance!" People think I'm nuts for trying to describe this, and how funny it truly is - now I can just point them here and prove that I'm right! LOL

@shaneu1 Unfortunately when I got it the part that was missing I wasn't able to find anywhere else. I still have lots more commercials coming so maybe the full version will be in that collection....we'll see !
