Homeopathic medicine scene from Futurama, "Crimes of the Hot".

-I've got a degree in homeopathic medicine.
-You've got a degree in baloney.

  • You foolish robot, diluting him will only make his doctorate stronger!

  • Sprayed him with several gallons of homeopathic medicine.

According to that dude, he should be dead now.

  • @junglistmassiff Sorry, but this really is about homeopathy being worthless.

  • My favorite part of this gag is that when the conference happens, that Civil Defense hover-van robot is the presenter. Like the whole thing was his idea.

  • @junglistmassiff Also, Matt Groening attended Evergreen.

  • @junglistmassiff I just saws that!

  • @PointlessSteel Faith-healing ("Lettuce pray!") is baloney too.

  • @tumminn you can't see me, but I'm giving you a standing ovation for that comment.

  • @mkarnerfors :D

I already know what is it, and i saw James Rendi explains how silly it is.

he told a joke about someone who died from an overdose, because he forgot to take the pill.

    (sorry for my bad English)

  • I think you are ALL missing the real joke here... his degree is from Evergreen State College... the biggest Joke School in the entire country! He's not insulting homeopathic medicine, he's making a joke about the School he Attended!

  • @mkarnerfors Dude, you forgot about how special the methods of shaking are... These amateur sceptics, whatever will we do with you :)

  • @omri9325 Homeopathy... here's how it works: it doesn't.

Say you want to make a sleep agent. You start with something that makes you LESS sleepy, like caffeine. You put 1 part of that in 9 parts water. Shake that alot. Take 1 part of that mix and put in 9 parts water. Shake. Repeat many times.

Homeopaths claim that somewhere along the way this water suddenly starts to induce sleepiness. They claim the more you dilute this, the more effective it becomes.

    So it's baloney.
