On the occasion of Paris Photos, and in partnership with the Magnum gallery, the Ambassador of the United States Charles Rivkin and his spouse Susan Tolson hosted in their residence a unique exhibit by LA photographer Jim Goldberg. Entitled Open See and started in 2003, the series is about immigrants, refugees and human trafficking in Europe. During the installation and on the invitation of the embassy, several groups of youth including photography students from Gobelins school of image and Miroir school of performing arts, who are interested in these issues, met and discussed with the photographer who answered their questions about his work, his experience and his participation in this project.
