@yeshuahfullofit (cont.) After my matter is gone and the spark of life is gone, there is no more " I ". That is the miraclulous 'gift' of life. That you get to have a sense of YOU. I don't believe that you have an eternal 'afterlife' or that it would be a thing to be desired. I believe you get this one life, this one opportunity, this giddy, sad, wonderful, tragic, experience and that's it. That makes life so much more meaningful and dear to me than any god I have heard of. There you go.

@genesisrestoration Everything that exists is a manifestation of the universe( insert any 'god' here, if you are of that persuasion). How could it be otherwise? I do not believe in any god or any religion. Since I do not believe in any 'god', it follows that I don't believe any 'god' spoke to any humans or published any books. We are made out of the 'stuff' of the universe. What the spark of life is, I have no idea. When I die, my matter returns to matter and the 'spark' to whence it came.

@genesisrestoration Then just who was it that 'wrestled' with god until god cheated and struck him in the hip? I believe he saw god's face LONG before jesus.

@yeshuahfullofit That was true,before Christ came, no one could look upon Gods face and live . After Jesus Christ came he himself said if you have seen me you have seen the Father. Though i dont believe that Bob was claiming to have seen God but rather he has had a vision. If you seek the truth as i do you will be open to discern the claims of anyone besides looking at the fruit of that individual. Correct?

@DavisMook Maybe he was dead when he claimed to have seen god, but he's alive NOW after seeing god. So......... he saw god,face to face, and lived. What part of that don't you get?
