SSBB Glide Waveland: How to

Sorry about the TERRIBLE video quality, I recorded this with a cell phone off the screen. The Audio Quality is even worse due to some problem uploading it onto Youtube. This is REAL! Both Pit and Meta Knight can get a Wavedash/Waveland via their glide attack. You need to pick up speed in your glide, then angle it perfectly so that you will be as close to paralel with the ground as possible when landing. You must press the attack button just before landing to cancel the normal crash landing and replace it with a Wavedash. The timing of the attack can vary depending on how you are using the Wavedash/Waveland.

Can't be done with Charizard?

It can, but Charizard gets so little distance that it doesn't really count. So little that there isn't any reason to use it unless to use a glide attack into another attack, you probably wouldn't slide past them enough to not get grabbed. But you can use this to grab an enemy.

um how do you uploed the videos from the cell phone?pleas tell me

You go to Camera, then select Camcorder, then you record the video and save it to a micro SD card, which you take out and insert into your computer, at which point you find the video and upload it. That's how I did it, there are other ways though.

Oh yh, isnt really a WaveDash or a WaveLand.

Pit's Glide-Shift has vertical knock-back which lets him slide forward. Course, combine it with a normal attack, it looks like a WaveLand.

or i could be wrong, im only saying what I can see in the video, if the quality of it is confusing me, please let me know.

It doesn't use Glide Shift, and the quality of the video is terrible. What happens is that if you crash into the ground right, then you will slide some distance. But you can't do anything from it because you're stunned, but if you press "A" just before landing, you will slide as well without being stunned from lag. The glide attack can be used to damage them, and the skid can prevent shield-grabbing allowing many different attacks to be used. This is a waveland more than wavedash.

(This is a continuation of the last comment) You aren't finished yet, you can press back, jump then glide. Use the glide attack to waveland, then if they do a back roll, downsmash. In other words this could stop their edge ambush and allow you to move again. Use this as a Waveland. Now Meta Knight can use his Up-B to Wavedash, and then link to Down Smash, his up-B would either force them to dodge, or they get hit. Pit's goes further, Meta Knights can activate faster.
