  • Beautiful hymn, beautiful organ, and beautiful registrations. Absolutely love what you did with the last verse. Congrats on a piece well played!

  • @KeepDeltaMyDelta Thanks, I simply LOVE this hymn! Thanks for your kind comments.

  • This is one of my favorite melodies. I used this tune for my music theory class in high school. I arranged it for organ, timpani and 4 trumpets. Got an A for the project!

  • @Ericb61 Congratulations on that! It really is a nice hymn for sure.

  • This hymn tune is heard often in Christian Science churches. It is one of several settings for Mary Baker Eddy's poem "Feed My Sheep", also known by its first line, "Shepherd, show me how to go". Of the hymns by Mrs. Eddy, this is probably the most "accessible" to other Christians.

  • @DubhglasPiobaire Thanks!

  • Thank yooou!

  • This tune name is Llanfair 77.77. with Alleluias by Robert Williams, 1781-1821, and harmonized by David Evans, 1874-1948.

  • Yeah, but in fairness, it's an Ascension hymn so how often can you sing it? :-)

  • Thanks Cody!!
