This music video was our first extensive experiment with 'blue-screening'. The blue screen effect here is crude and unrefined compared to some of our later work, but the beauty of music videos is that you can get away with naff effects as being part of the charm.

LOL! very funny but in my experience there are a considerable number of women in England with extraordinary mental and psychic powers, and quite frankly I am rather frightened of them now.

I love steeleye span and wish I had some of their C.D.s
for the record, I like the more traditional approach to this ancient ballad, such as Malinky's treatment, but this is a high-power alternative to an excellent song about all the mean witches of northern England
