@duran3d old post, but from an interview I saw with I think he uses poster paints. He's got 40-50 pots of different colours at the front of his drawing table and grabs the ones he needs for whatever he's working on

No, it's poster color paint. He said so himself in the blu-ray I have of his work. He thins it down with water to create a water color consistency and effect.

@glustar I dont think its water colour the texture of the medium is abit thick so i think its an ink.
