Monmouth County, NJ (June 18, 2009) Concerned that a massive school tax hike will force them from their homes, residents of the tiny Village of Loch Arbour launched a YouTube appeal to Governor Jon Corzine and the New Jersey Legislature.
Beginning July 1, Loch Arbour residents will face a 447% increase in their school tax rate as a result of Governor Corzine's new School Funding Reform Act (SFRA).
Loch Arbour residents decided to launch an appeal over the Internet after Governor Corzine and officials with the state Department of Education ignored repeated requests to meet with the community.

Until New Jersey faces reality, this will be the trend in the State.
There is no free lunch. We cannot continue to tax and spend the way we do and expect people to stay. I have spent the better part of fifty years in has been destroyed by politician after politician. Governor Corzine wants to make our state into a socialist utopia. It does not exist. All retirees will leave the state. Our fate will be no better than GMs or Chryslers.
