Patti Smith Live - Gloria In Excelsis Deo (Christiania 2007)

In this, the last song of the regular set, the band plays the ever popular first number from their first album, "Horses" (1975). Partly a cover version of Van Morrison's "Gloria" with a lot of Patti Smith style poetic license thrown in. Filmed in the gray hall (Den Grå Hal) of Christiania, Copenhagen, Denmark (20 June 2007 - photography Hunter Desportes).

This is actually a great performance - in Christiana - Denmark. This was a great place in the 70ies. One of the nicest locations for freaks and bohemians in Europe. I love Patty very much, since I have heared her first concerts in the 70ies. Nice concert - great song!!
