Giraffe Evolution

In the magic hour of light, and just before sunset this giraffe came to drink at Bandama. She looked heaviy pregnant and was cautious when approaching the pan. After each bout of drinking she exercised her tongue and with it being so long, of course a path in evolution, she was able to clean out her nostrils too. Cos she can!

I ask you - what actually verifies the theory as fact in your mind? I have told you what I believe based on my studies. I would believe in or trust evolution if the evidence seemed verifiable, but I honestly don't see the evidence as verifiable. I have never said I am a scientist, but I want to defend the Bible. To me, scripture stands out in front and answers questions evolution hasn't. Plus I believe in God.

@jiminiflix how can you say that the process of evolution is not verifiable, but the generation of life has been disproved? Are you a scientist or an expert? Can you cite some studies? It sounds to me like you just research ways to argue evolution using semi-coherent logic and bastardizing data.  I don't meant to be rude or petty, but i have trouble trusting your expertise on microbiology and evolution when you can't properly spell 'outweigh'

@notBananaSlama I don't think you are stupid, only that you think you understand how life came to be, but evolution cannot explain in all honesty how. A cell is extremely complex and the way it performs its functions is similar to a sophisticated factory. The way DNA is self-repairing, the way RNA works with DNA, and the way proteins are synthesized using RNA templates screams of a Designer.Dawkins admits it appears like there is a designer, but he refuses to accept that as a possibility.

@notBananaSlama Recent advances in microbiology have shown the incomprehensible complexity of DNA and the living cell. The human DNA molecules are the chromosomes that comprise the human genome. The purpose of the DNA is to specify the information for the human blueprint. Information is separate from the chemicals that are just the media for the information. Only intelligence can generate information. How can we believe that such complicated information could have generated randomly?

@notBananaSlama I think evolution is a fraudulent science. I believe the assumptions outway the evidence.The outcomes don't line up with way. The process of evolution is not in any way scientifically varifiable or able to be. Thus the entire premise is assumption and hypothesis. In reality the complexity and purposefulness seen in all all life cannot be explained by evolution.Natural spontaneous generation of life has been disproved.

@jiminiflix do you think i am stupid for believing in evolution? I must be delusional or something right? Surely, there is something fundamentally wrong with my argument. But before you trying to disprove my beliefs, I suggest you first understand them. Your arguments against evolution reveal a half-baked "understanding" of it. If the theory of evolution worked the way you believe it does, then you would have to be an idiot to believe it.

@notBananaSlama If you say you're a christian and accept evolution or if you believe evolution and the Bible go hand in hand, nothing could be further from the truth. The Bible is clear, otherwise why did the chronology of man be recorded? Timelines and chronology show the age of earth and all life around 6000 years. Its a contrast to 4.5 Billlion, which is a belief as well.Evolution is founded on humanism. Its preached as scientific fact alongside a deep hatred for faith in God and His Word.

@jiminiflix Evolution makes a whole lot of sense and there is soooo much evidence to support it. The arguement that "it can't be true cus thats not how the bible tells the story" has been wrong before, and its wrong now. Evolution isn't the opposite of religion, it doesn't disprove God or Jesus so you don't have to be so passionately against it.
