It has been a long time since my last video and sadly I must admit that my videoing skills has become a little rusty through the years. I excuse in advance and hope for improvements to come in future times.

And to all my viewers who think I've really become a dad: be reasonable - my maturity is (still) limited to frying an egg!

I subscribed to you in 2006... Ahh yes, the more innocent times, back when we all tried to figure out what YouTube was all about. The days of lonelygirl15... renetto... the mass exodus from YouTube to sites that paid money, and the mass re-arrival after everyone noticed that their audience was here... back when TheWineKone dominated youtube... We're all a few years older, and the site has lost some of its charm, but it's still the users that make it great... welcome back from the dead! ;-)

@fwins Nostalgia, hell yes. Agreed, but there's been a noticeable shift from a very personal and tight-knit community where everyone knew each other and was trying to figure it out together, to a more commercialized site with lots of corporate presence and a vastly enlarged visitorbase. There's a lot more noise in the comments now. Oh and I know my nostalgia wants to say we didn't have "In 1894, a girl died, send this to 5 people" chain mail back then, but I am pretty sure we did, hehe.

ps part two (ha) - my dad served in the US Navy down in Yakushima, in the Osumi Islands. He said it was beautiful. I wish I could go!
