pity the soundtrack(s) of the musical are so abriged.
the OLC version's plot skips a lot and the 1999 cast recording has a slightly tighter plot (more of it on the soundtrack) but still doesn't make places in a lot of places.
I don't know why Bobuil and Schonberg don't just realse a complete symphonic recording of it like they did with Miss Saigon & Les Misérables.

Yeah - there are 2 recordings - the Original London Cast Recording, which is what this video is based on. Apparently that version of the show didn't do too well, so it closed, and Boublil and Schoenberg rewrote it to great acclaim with the 1999 Cast Recording.
LOVE "Live With Somebody You Love." Love the overture from the original recording, though!

I have the 1999 cast recording (my uncle gave it to me a little while ago) and Jerome isn't on it....is there another recording I don't know about?
