A clip from the PBS documentary:

"Qigong - Ancient Chinese Healing for the 21st Century"

by Francesco Garri Garripoli http://www.wujiproductions.com

A Detroit Public TV documentary on Master Duan Zhi-Liang, a Wuji Qigong Master.

"The essence of all evolution in nature emerges from chaos, by understanding the infinite energy that is always available to us we can flow naturally with the chaotic rythms of the universe. Try to avoid patterns and repetition, mix things up, and let chi flow smoothly. Remain flexible and relaxed in all you do, this is to truly understand chi kung.

Experiencing the deep and synchronized breathing of chi kung, connects us to the original breath that created the universe."

  • Not all but many Americans are so medicated by doctors. They are drug pushers

as far as I'm concerned. I've seen my family and many people die from drugs.

This is so incredible and I'm starting this tonight.

  • Hey guys, did you know that it's possible that BOTH Eastern and Western methodologies and ideas have merit? Some illnesses cannot be cured by ancient, natural methods - people with them died early before certain drugs and surgeries were discovered or invented. Then again, Western medicine is too dependent on drugs - everything is an illness, and everything can be treated by pills.

  • Where can I get the documentory for this video ?

  • Master Duan rocks!

  • Master Duan is still about and active at over 100 years old - for example he will speak at the upcoming traditional chinese medicine congress in Athens, June-July 2012.

  • I smiled at the end. This guy's my hero.

  • @trakomako Chi kung could help but so could sewing or painting. It's about mindfulness and the exploration of yourself. Any activity which requires your concentration is good for you (within reason, obviously).

  • If interested in Qigong and high level Chinese Cultivation check out Falun Gong All the material is available on the internet for free

  • @trakomako no

  • @trakomako Yes. If you overextend or strain your joints you can damage them, doing more harm than good. All movements are natural and balanced, if there is strain then you are hurting yourself. There are also stories of overdoing chi kung (qigong) can lead to something called chi psychosis, giving you a horrible god complex. You must remember that these arts are based on principles of balance, and balance must be observed in all aspects.

  • @LomLom333 Yes. His life SPAN is longer now. As opposed to being 60, he will live to about 80 or 90. That is prolonging your lifespan.

  • @LomLom333 Prolonged lifespan means you can live longer. Not stay young forever.
